Kapiti Women's Centre training begins
April 2014

Our new enrollment of Centre Worker Training for 2014 has begun.
Volunteers are the heart and soul of Kapiti Women's Centre. Centre Workers participate in a thorough training programme that has several parts. Firstly, you attend an orientation session to learn more about the role. Secondly, there is a 7 session training programme with 5 half days and 2 full days of training. this training includes practical support skills and discussion of issues affecting women in our community. Part three is practical – learning about the ins and outs of the Centre. Lastly, you will take on a weekly shift at the Centre, supported by an experienced collective member. Towards the end of each year, we have a celebration to welcome the new graduates to our team. We look forward to you being a part of this wonderful team of volunteers. - See more at:
