EnviroArt gets boost in Kāpiti
August 2012
Barry Lucinsky, accompanied by Michelle Laurensen and Angela Rayner, is pictured with one of his glass sculptures on display at Wordsmith of Waikanae.

Barry Lucinsky of Ōtaki is very well known for his commitment to recycling, especially glass, and now he has gone a step further with the creation of art works made from crushed glass.

Mr Lucinsky has work on exhibition which is also for sale at a variety of outlets throughout Kāpiti including WordSmith of Waikanae.

Wordsmith's Angela Rayner said the Silica Garden Art sculptures have been a popular attraction at her shop in Aputa Place, Waikanae.

"The pieces are lovely and are selling very well," said Ms Rayner.
