The very popular Waikanae Community Market held on Saturdays will be on for a Special Christmas Night Market at Waikanae Park on Wednesday 23rd from 5pm to 9pm.
Unless you are one of those super-organised people and have all your Christmas shopping sorted already, then the Waikanae Market this Wednesday night is a great opportunity to support local businesses and get those last minute gifts.
Organiser Barbara Chatters says most of the usual stallholders will be present as well lots of different stalls with something for everyone.
Ms Chatters says the night will be a fundraiser for the Foodbank and they are expected good crowds to come and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
Father Christmas will be putting in an appearance and there will be music from the Kāpiti Pipe Band and the Kāpiti Brass Band. There will also be foodtrucks and Mr Whippy.
Ms Chatters says this is a great chance for some last minute shopping and to enjoy a fun community event.
