Border Controls force Waikanae's Guest Pianist to Cancel Tour
March 16, 2020
Oleg Marshev has had to cancel his New Zealand tour due to the Coronavirus restrictions.

Members of the Waikanae Music Society have been looking forward to March 29 and the chance of hearing one of their most popular pianists, the internationally acclaimed Oleg Marshev who last visited New Zealand in 2016.
However, the border controls announced over the weekend mean that he has had no choice but to cancel his New Zealand tour.
Initially the Society's organisers planned to present a replacement performer but given the worsening coronavirus situation they have decided it is wiser to completely cancel. People who may have already purchased tickets are advised to return them to the ticketing agent where they bought them for a refund, or to contact the Society's Treasurer (04 293 4025). For up-to-date news about future concerts go to www.waikanaemusic.org.nz or phone 04 905 6070.
