Political affiliation; Independent

"We can make Kāpiti a place that celebrates and supports diversity, within our population, economy and local business scene. A family, that shows aroha to its most vulnerable and increases the feeling of connectedness and belonging in our communities. This is our home.

What will you do to keep rates down? (50 words max):
It's important that our services and infrastructure are equipped for the future, but it is inequitable to place a further weight onto ratepayers. Instead, we can find other avenues of funding such as through central government, spending wisely and placing the community at the centre of all decision making.
