Hot Spots for Kapiti Water Users

Greater Wellington Water Users Survey

From Otaki south the Greater Wellington Regional Council monitors the quality of the rivers, lakes and coasts to protect the environment and make sure it's safe for all to enjoy.

In the process Greater Wellington says they're constantly keeping a finger on the pulse of where our communities have contact with water, which is why we're asking this summer: What's YOUR top spot

GW says by letting them know where you like to swim, kayak, and gather kai, you're helping council to protect and improve our waterways. By telling them about spots that are currently below par, you're helping to ensure they're safe to swim in the future.

GW says it's as simple as dropping a pin on a map and can be done online (see below for link).

The Survey of Greater Wellington Water Users Responses (both pins and answers) are visible to everyone filling out the survey, so you might even get some hot tips about where's cool to cool off this summer.

So get clicking! It's as simple as dropping a pin on a map.
