Kāpiti Coast District Libraries find book Masterminds
Schools around Kāpiti have recently participated in a quiz – Mastermind – about the book finalists in the New Zealand Book Awards for Children and Young People. Keen young readers read the books then tried to anticipate the curly questions that library staff would set for them. Five gruelling question rounds later (plus a tie-breaker round for the Juniors), we had the winners in this year’s competition.
In the Senior section;
First place went to Kenakena
Second place went to Te Horo 2
Third place went to Paekākāriki 1
In the Junior section:
First place went to Kenakena
Second place went to Raumati Beach
Third place went to Paekākāriki
