Oxford University academic Marco Grix made friends quickly on a recent visit to Kāpiti Island, especially with the inquisitive Kaka.
“I loved going to the Island, it is a beautiful place. It was quite an adventure to see the birds in their natural habitat,”said Mr Grix.
“The views from the top of the island are amazing and I would recommend the experience highly.”
