Peter Glensor, Chair of the Greater Wellington Regional Council’s Transport and Access committee, visited Kāpiti this week, inspecting progress on rail upgrades at Waikanae and Paraparaumu.
Mr Glensor’s committee held its formal meeting in Ōtaki before touring the district and finally meeting with KCDC councillors and staff to discuss pressing public transport issues in Kāpiti.
“It is of great value to us to hold meetings throughout the region and the local feedback we get plays an important part in our decision making,” said Cr Glensor.
