Kāpiti Mana Police have made a further arrest in connection with the murder of Kāpiti man Raymond Piper.
Mr Piper went missing from Paraparaumu Beach on Saturday 15 May 2010.
Head of the investigation, Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Oxnam says a 17 year-old male has been arrested this morning.
“This young man was arrested in Paraparaumu and faces one charge of being a party to the murder of Raymond Piper. He will appear in the Porirua District Court this afternoon.”
“The focus of this investigation remains on locating Mr Piper’s body and returning it to his whanau, to be able to give him a final resting place,” says DSS Oxnam.
