What better way to raise funds for the Christchurch Earthquake than to hold a Rock and Roll Revival Night. The Rotary Club of Ōtaki with Ōtaki Memorial RSA are holding a fundraiser for “Christchurch Earthquake” appeal.
Organiser Marilyn Stevens says this is an invitation for you to help in whatever way you can – The Rotary Club of Ōtaki in conjunction with the Ōtaki Memorial RSA are holding a “Rock ‘n’ Roll Revival” night on 19th March at the Ōtaki Memorial Hall 7.30pm. ALL PROCEEDS are going to Christchurch. “We will get everything we can donated, so far that includes the hall, the music (live bands), advertising & publicity.
We would love it if businesses or individuals could donate goods for raffles, auction & lucky ticket numbers. We are also looking for help with supper on the night – if you can help please let me know. If your form of help would be to buy a ticket or tickets for the night that’s fine too – let me know how many you want ($20 per ticket), if you would like to make a monetary donation knowing that every cent will go to those that need it and not be swallowed in administration – let me know – your help will be really appreciated.
This event has the potential to be a real fun night and a serious money maker for the cause.” You can contact Marilyn Stevens 0212255684 or First National Ōtaki (06) 3648350
