The Annual Kāpiti Festival is likely to draw thousands of visitors again this year when the gates open at 9.30am on Saturday 17 November in the grounds of Kāpiti School.

Ladies. Kāpiti Pak n Save is kindly supplying the ice cream and strawberries, and we have Shott Strawberry sauce, and Kāpiti Chocolate Factory are providing chocolate for choc-dipped strawberries this year
We have Wilson Barbecue on site and doing cooking demonstrations. Wilson Barbecue won this year’s Visa Wellington on a Plate Burger Welly – a hugely popular competition which had over 100 entries from eateries around Wellington. They bought the entire country out of ribs during the competition and had to turn people away due to how popular they were. They’re a new business with the goods – American-style barbecued meat! They can be found around Wellington in a number of places, and are regularly parked up at Tuatara’s The Third Eye bar in Wellington City.
Sunday Cantina is also on site doing a cooking demonstration. Based in Waikanae, Fi Grieg is a passionate chef who’s focused on fresh, wholesome, free range, gluten free, raw foods. She makes any vegetable sensationally delicious and her raw slices are just exquisite.
Music from: Retro Divas, Zeal, Tommy from Tommy & the Fallen Horses, Devon Welch, The Grawlixes and more. Kāpiti is fortunate to be full of wonderful musicians and a young musicians’ movement led by Zeal which has produced some fine young musos. With Wellington – musically wonderful city that it is – on Kāpiti’s doorstep we are pleased to invite other artists who together will create a diverse and varied repertoire on the day.
