Reigning champions Brent Wells and Wayne Tibbitts.

Reigning champions Brent Wells and Wayne Tibbitts were in dynamic form on the first day of the john King Memorial Masters, winning all four group matches, and dropping only three frames in the process.

Last year’s runners-up Brendan McLean and Richard Jackson are also safely through to tomorrow’s (Sunday) knockout rounds after winning three first day matches.

Play continues on Sunday with the knockout rounds of the main draw.

There will also be Flight and Plate events for the teams who do not qualify for the main draw.
