Cliff Gott from the Kāpiti Combined Lions Clubs says on Saturday the 8th of June there will be a great way to clear some space at home or at your business and to help your local community.

The next Kāpiti Combined Lions Clubs Electronic Waste Collection is coming soon on Saturday 8th June, 9am to 1pm.

Bring your old and broken electronic equipment and pay a small fee to have it recycled instead of going to landfill. We accept the following items and charge as shown:

Computers / Laptops – $10

UPS’s / network switches / servers $10

Gaming consoles / keyboards – $5

LCD Computer screens – $15

CRT Computer screens – $30

IT accessories (cables, chargers, wiring) – $5 per bag

Batteries sorted (AA, AAA, Coin, Square etc.) – $5 per bag

Large batteries (lead/acid for car/motorbike etc) – $5

LCD TVs small/medium – $25

LCD TVs large – $30

Small appliances (e-alarm clock, hair straighteners) – $5
