A 36 year old Kāpiti man who has been held in custody following a car crash late September will be before the Porirua District Court on December 4.
The man faces serious driving and drugs charges.
On September 22 the car, driven by the man with a passenger in the front seat, flipped, rolled and ended on its roof in the car park of the Coast Community Church in Hinemoa St, Paraparaumu.
The car had been driving at high speed when the crash occurred.
The incident happened at 1pm and police were quickly on the scene.
At the scene a Police spokesperson said the driver and passenger had been taken to the Police Station, adding, “It was very lucky for them to have escaped with just minor injuries.”
