If you are not sure then the Kāpiti Genealogical Society might be able to help you. At the Society’s next neeting on September 24 the guest speaker will be Christine Edney on the topic Research before and while on Tour through Ireland.
The Kāpiti Branch spans the Kāpiti Coast from Paekākāriki in the South to Te Horo in the north. The Branch celebrated its 40th year in May.
With a membership of around 180, they welcome those researching their ancestors and local history from beginners to long-timers.
