“We run a bush explorers programme where we go into the bush with a small group of children on a weekly basis to connect with nature and foster an appreciation of this natural learning resource.
“We are guided by our New Zealand curriculum Te Whariki, to help children grow as learners in an enjoyable and empowering way. Consistency and continuity are key for children and our routines support this. We respect children’s diverse learning pathways and help them to build strong identities of themselves as competent and confident lifelong learners.
“As 100% trained and registered teachers we promote empowering children to make their own decisions. We encourage children to recognise their contributions to their learning environment.”
