A 34-year-old man has been arrested in relation to an aggravated robbery at the ASB Bank on Coastlands Parade on 21 July.
During the robbery the man presented what appeared to be a firearm, threatened staff, and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
No shots were fired and no one was injured during this incident, although staff were understandably shaken.
Police say the man is due to reappear in the North Shore District Court on November 23 on a charge of aggravated burglary.
Police have said as this incident is now before the court, they are not in a position to comment further.
