Steam Inc continue to draw crowds wherever their magnificent trains go and this weekend the Ja 1271 and the Steam Inc crew joined forces with the team from Glenbrook Vintage Railway in Feilding, heading to Ohakune on Saturday.
Steam Inc says “You couldn’t beat the sound of ‘71 hitting the grades north of Taihape – she took it like a champ! Yesterday we carried another few hundred passengers from Ohakune up to Glenbrook with stops at National Park, Taumarunui and Hamilton.
“We safely arrived onto GVR metals just after 1900hrs and brought our train down to Pukeoware where it was put away and shut down. A great weekend of collaboration between both organisations.
