The Local Body Elections for 2022 are fast approaching, and the Kāpiti Coast Chamber of Commerce is here to make sure you are informed on all the current business issues.
To do this, we will be hosting two 2022 Local Body Election Events
Kāpiti Mayoral Debate
Come join us for our customary Mayoral Debate, where all Mayoral Candidates will get the chance to introduce themselves, and answer questions about economic development, tourism, town centres, and their vision for Kāpiti.
We’ll also be joined by the Greater Wellington Regional Councillors for Kāpiti, who will introduce themselves and speak to how they intend to bring a Regional Council focus to Kāpiti.
There will also be time for a public Q&A session, so come prepared with all your local business questions.
When: 5:30pm-9pm, Tuesday 30th August 2022

Candidate Q&A Night
The Kāpiti Chamber of Commerce is also hosting a quick-fire Q&A with our districtwide and ward councillors. Each candidate will get the chance to quickly introduce themselves before we move into a fast paced Q&A session, so come prepared with all your business questions.
