The Kāpiti Coast Museum will re-open on Friday June 19 after several weeks Lockdown during the COVID 19 crisis.
Museum Chairman Mark Holland says “We are delighted to be able to host visitors again and specially pleased and proud that so many of our volunteer visitor hosts have elected to return. It has been encouraging that already we have several school tours booked during
the next few months.”
The Museum, on Elizabeth Street, Waikanae is a treasure house of local history and is currently featured in the national magazine ‘Heritage’. It is open Friday- Sunday 1-4pm.
Tours can be arranged any time during the week but organisers are advised to book early.
