UPDATE: Police report the 89-year-old man reported missing last night had been located. They say he is safe and well.
Police are appealing for sightings of William O’Mara, aged 89.
Mr O’Mara left home this morning to catch a bus.
He is a regular user of public transport and will often travel to Wellington, Eastbourne and Waikanae – however he has also previously been located in Taupo.
Mr O’Mara was last seen in Taita this morning at around 9am.
He was wearing navy blue fleece track pants with a white stripe on the side.
He is of medium build and should be wearing his hat.
