UPDATE:
“Missing Waikanae woman found”
The 67-year-old woman reported missing in Waikanae yesterday afternoon was located last night in a section near her home at 1.30am.
She was cold but otherwise safe and well.
Police would like to thank Waikanae Community Patrols, Wellington and Horowhenua LandSAR volunteers, and members of the public who offered to help with the search.
Police say they are concerned for the safety of 67-year-old Rosemary Reich who has been reported missing in Waikanae.
Rosemary was last seen at her address on Rangihiroa Street, Waikanae Beach, around 4pm this afternoon.
She was wearing light grey trousers, a dark blue cardigan, and a green puffer jacket.
Police and Search and Rescue are making enquiries and ask anyone who may have seen Rosemary to ring 111.
