Kāpiti Council’s Rimu Road works have kicked off in Paraparaumu. As part of these works, Council has made some temporary changes to car parking on Iver Trask Place, directly outside the Council Buildings.
Council are also carrying out some night works this weekend, which will involve a detour through the Coastlands car park. Check out the Kāpiti Council website for specific information on the car parking changes, the night works schedule and what it all means for the public.
There will be a temporary closing of a section of Rimu Road on Sunday 11 March from 6pm until 6am Monday morning. This is so contractors can carry out some underground works with minimal disruption. A diversion will be in place through Coastlands’ car park, but drivers might prefer to use an alternative route.
The current improvement works at the intersection of Rimu Road and Iver Trask Place are expected be completed by the end of June.
