Kāpiti artist Tania Dally has new works show at Atelier.
The latest showing from gifted Kāpiti artist Tania Dally will be launched tomorrow night (Thursday Feb 1) at quality contemporary furnishings store Atelier at Kāpiti Landing.
Nadene Hunt of Atelier says she took an instant liking to the works of Tania Dally and invited her to display works in her store which provides an opportunity for people to see what the works would look like in a home.
The artist Ms Dally says Atelier has been open for three months and this was an opportunity for the public to see her paintings as well as the beautiful designer furnishings on display at Atelier.
She says this is not so much an exhibition as a chance to showcase new works.
Ms Dally creates original abstract art of superb quality and her work is highly sought after.
She says she paints New Zealand landscapes, without trying to reproduce the landscapes as they are; instead she creates an interpretation that goes beyond representation directly to raw emotion. Rather than what it looks like, it’s more about what it feels like.
The new works showing is 5pm-7pm Thursday at Atelier 135 Kāpiti Rd (next to Burger Fuel)
