A new Genealogy group is starting this week and anyone interested in finding out about their ancestry is welcome to join.
Spokesperson for the Kāpiti Genealogy Daytime Group Sonia Cooms says they have had the green light to start the new daytime discussion group under the umbrella of the Kāpiti Branch of the NZ Society of Genealogists.
Ms Cooms says the first session is at 9,30am this Thursday at the Waikanae Baptist Church on Te Moana Rd.
Ms Cooms says she is more than happy with the venue as it was a matter of finding somewhere where they would have wi-fi access.
The new group aims to provide an informal gathering to share research and ideas in a daytime setting.
