At approximately 11:30pm on Saturday 9th December Kāpiti Police attended a vehicle crash on the corner on Ruapehu Street and Riwai Street, Paraparaumu.
During the crash, a person driving this vehicle lost control and crashed through the side of a house causing extensive damage to the address and injuring a dog that had been sleeping on a chair inside. The driver of the vehicle left the scene and was not located.
Police are following strong lines of enquiries to identify this person, however Police are appealing for any witnesses to the crash or anyone else that may have information to assist with their enquiries.
