Kāpiti Council has announced the appointment of Natasha Tod to the role of Group Manager Regulatory Services.
Ms Tod brings more than ten years local government, leadership and management experience to the role, with an emphasis on managing regulatory systems and processes.
Outgoing CEO Pat Dougherty says Ms Tod is a proven performer having held the role of Acting Group Manager Regulatory Services since October this year and several management positions across local and central government.
He says she has been instrumental in driving performance improvements within the Council’s development control and resource consents teams and has helped embed a more open for business culture across the Council.
Prior to joining the Council in April 2016 Ms Tod held several management positions at the Ministry for the Environment including Manager, Treaty Negotiations Policy where she contributed to advancing Treaty of Waitangi settlement negotiations between the Crown and iwi.
