Kāpiti artist Marcus Ebbett has been the toast of the town with the successful Wellington launch of his latest exhibition MARCUS EBBETT PAINTS WELLINGTON.
His SOLO43 exhibition at the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts, 1 Queens Wharf Wellington runs until December 14.
Mr Ebbett was one of the featured artists on the recent Kāpiti Arts Trail and says he had a great time on the arts trail talking about art and meeting new people.
He says it’s great to talk to people and get feedback on what he is painting.
At age 26 Mr Ebbett is fast becoming one of the most sought after artists in the country as his reputation rapidly grows and his exhibition during the Arts Trail was sold out.
The young Raumati artist uses a wide range of mediums, including oils and watercolours.
