The weather forecast for Saturday says the sun will be shining on the Kāpiti Coast Festival being held at Kāpiti School.
Last year’s event was cancelled because of very bad weather but Chairman of the organising committee Craig Bardell says they will be expecting similar numbers to the 7000 who turned out the year.
“We have a good spread of Vendors, Stalls and Attractions for the KCF with the number of sites at 100.”
Mr Bardell says there will be something for the whole family.
“Its going to be great day for an excellent cause so come along and enjoy the fun.”
Mr Bardell is a member of the BNI Kāpiti Coast group which is supporting the event along with the BNI Gold Coast group.
“Both chapters are strong supporters of Mary Potter Hospice locally and all the funds raised go to the Hospice so it is a great way for people to have a fun day out while knowing they are contributing to a very worthy cause.”
