On Father’s Day Hoop Club Kāpiti held their annual “Kids vs Dads” games at Hoop Club in Paraparaumu and in Ōtaki.
It is always a great day and something the kids really look forward to.
The players love the idea of playing against the Dads and showing them what they have learnt at Hoop Club and of course they all try really hard to beat the Dads, but as we always know the Dads will always win on their special day.
The games were held for the 5 to 7 year olds in the 9.30 to 10.30am session and the 8 to 10 year olds in the 10.30 to 11.30am session and the 11 to 13 year olds in the 11.30 to 12.30pm session at the Paraparaumu sessions and in the 5 to 10 year olds 1.00 to 2.00pm in Ōtaki.
The games are all about fun but do get quite competitive with both the Kids and the Dads all wanting to win.
Hoop Club also holds their Kids vs Mums games on Mother’s Day as well.
