Kāpiti’s catering guru Ruth Pretty believes food is about sharing. She will show and share planning hints and confidence-boosters, while demonstrating delicious recipes you can take home and make for family and friends.
Tap into Ruth’s 30 years of experience catering functions large and small and be entertained with stories of her life in food, while gaining tips and tricks to casually entertain at home with delicious spring-focused recipes.
“Come September, everyone is looking forward to fresher lighter food. As the weather brightens we emerge from our winter cocoons and celebrate with friends and food. Shared plates are very now, and actually make life simpler for the chief cook. I will show you how to do things ahead, and integrate dietary requirements into a menu so you don’t need to panic if a guest asks for gluten-free food,” says Ruth.
Doors open at 6.30pm, demonstration starts at 7.30pm.
