The disruption to the lives of Raumati residents caused by noise from the Kāpiti Expressway requires an urgent fronting up from NZTA, says MP for Mana Kris Faafoi.
“Following a street corner meeting over the weekend where a dozen local residents raised their concerns I’m organising a public meeting to gauge the quantity and the precise issues the noise is producing and I’ve asked NZTA to attend as well”,
“Over the last year I’ve been helping many locals with issues related to the Kāpiti Expressway but following a series of street corner meetings over the weekend its clear Expressway noise issues are widespread”, says Kris Faafoi.
“Locals I’ve spoken to are frustrated with the lack of communication and the lack of action from NZTA following repeated complaints”,
“This is an issue that affects quality of life, property values and even health”, says Kris Faafoi.
