Again I read yet another episode in the ongoing saga of the Waikanae hedge. While I do recognise that our council has not covered itself in glory over the issue I do wonder how the problem of the overgrown hedge would have been handled had such a hedge been in the least affluent area of the Kāpiti Coast.
