This year’s funding round for Kāpiti community grants is now open.
More than $40,000 of grants is available to support community-based projects, programmes and events that help strengthen community capacity in the district.
Council’s Programme Design and Delivery Manager Tania Parata says the scheme encourages locals to achieve positive social outcomes in different sectors of the Kāpiti community.
“It’s great we’re able to support a range of not-for-profit groups that are building resilient, sustainable communities, encouraging greater community participation and improving the quality of life here in Kāpiti.”
Grants of up to $2,000 are available to assist each group.
