The Mitre10 MEGA Kāpiti Charity House is fast approaching its’ “closed in” status.
Recent superb efforts from our crew of local builders have resulted in the house being wrapped in building paper and the cavity battens installed. The window openings have been “flashed” with the new Baricade weather protection system, and the Nulock windows have been installed.The roofing materials have arrived and we are just awaiting the installation of the roof by All Roof Solutions.The next stage will again involve a Trade Working Bee of our local builders to install the weatherproof cladding system, plus the exterior timber battens, followed by some exterior painting.
The Mitre10 MEGA Kāpiti Charity House is now moved in to the “interior lining stage” status.
Recent superb efforts from our crew of local builders, plumbers (Peter Jackson Plumbing) , electricians (Paul Cotter Electrical) have resulted in the house being insulated (Pink Fit Team) and now ready for the interior lining to be completed . The painters (JMA Decorators) have done a great job an preparing the exterior surface with the base colour, ready for the next stage, that will again involve a Trade Working Bee of our local builders to install the exterior timber battens, followed by the final exterior painting. The interior painting and finishing will be taking place very soon, with completion date planned for end of October.
