Community groups will showcase their services and activities at the Ōtaki Community Expo on Saturday 12 September.
Organised by the Ōtaki Promotions Group the Expo helps local people find out about support, groups and activities within the community.
The Expo coordinator Carol Ward says, “there’s something of interest for all ages, and people can go in the draw for prizes for visiting the stalls.
This year we will have information about hearing, energy, sporting and other recreational activities, clubs and support groups, organisations that help in our community and much more.”
Carol says many groups have already booked their display space, but there is still room available for groups who want to participate in this annual event.
The Expo was first held in 2012 and has each year attracted many people through the doors. Carol expects this year’s to also be popular with those who wish to learn more about the services and events in their community.
The Expo will be held in the Ōtaki Memorial Hall, Main Street, Ōtaki from 10am to 2pm.
