The bake sales, sausage sizzles, quiz nights, stair climbs and golf tournaments have paid off official figures are in, and ANZ has raised more than $1 million for Daffodil Day.
ANZ staff members around the country designed their own fundraising activities, and volunteered on the street collecting donations from the public, raising a total of $1,000,022.
ANZ Chief Executive David Hisco said the bank set itself an ambitious target for what is one of its major sponsorships.
“We have more than 8000 people all around the country, and it was great to see everybody pulling together to get us to our target,” he said.
