Big crowds showed up to enjoy the annual Waikanae Easter Market held in Mahara Place.
With a large number of stalls and food outlets, as well as the local shops open there was a huge range of options for the many hundreds of visitors who enjoyed the day.
Music was provided by our own local Coast Access Radio 104.7FM with Grahmam Stevens and Andrew Stephens at the mic.
What originally looked like being a dodgy day weather wise turned out warm and calm and this popular market day looks sure to be back on again next year.
Pictured is five year old Charlee Stokes from Raumati who was one of hundreds of kids (and some adults) who were facepainted by Christy Lewis of Daizy Design.
