The Kāpiti Chamber of Commerce is again hosting its candidates meeting with a focus on business issues.
The Kāpiti Coast Chamber of Commerce Meet the Candidates Public Forum is a Public Forum featuring District Wide Councillor candidates, Mayoral candidates, and Wellington Regional Council candidates only. Please note your diary as follows:
Date: Wed 18th Sept 2013
Time: 7pm to 9.30pm
Venue: Meadows Church Auditorium, Cnr Realm Dr & Mazengarb Rd, Paraparaumu
The programme for the evening will be:
1. Welcome by the Chamber
2. Each District Wide Councillor candidates to speak for 3 minutes
3. Mayoral candidates to speak for 5 minutes
4. Wellington Regional Councillor candidates to speak for 3 minutes
5. Wrap-up by the Chamber
6. Finish with tea & coffee and opportunity to speak one-on-one with the public with any questions they may have
A Candidates Questionnaire has been issued and response will be collated and presented on PowerPoint at the Public Forum.
The event is being supported by the Radio Network and the Kāpiti Observer so there will be full radio and print media advertising together with electronic invitations being sent by the Chamber to its own database.
