Kāpiti needs leaders with real business experience who are accountable to voters. I have been a director of companies and farms, sat on school and rest-home boards, administered community clubs/societies and led regional organisations.
Council decisions need to be made by representatives of your views, not bureaucrats. I will ensure your voice is heard, your property rights are protected and Kāpiti self-determination is not destroyed by amalgamation.
Rates should not exceed the rate of inflation. Reckless spending must be eliminated to minimise distress on ratepayers while core Council services are delivered efficiently. I will ensure you get value for your rates.
The Kāpiti Coast has huge potential and is growing fast.
