I’ve been a councillor for 17 years and seek your support for a Districtwide seat.
I’m currently deputy chair of the regulatory management committee, member of the CEO employment committee and serve on the Aquatic centre trust, the CWB committee and chair the Paraparaumu Community Hall committee.
Outside of council I coordinate primary schools sport events, Sports Patron for Special Olympics, life member of the Kāpiti running and tri club.
During my 17 years as a councillor I have seen the construction of the Library, Hockey Turf, the introduction of Kerbside recycling. In the last triennium the new Aquatic Centre, the purchase of land for new parks, and a dam, and secure water management.
Challenges for the next triennium include the completion of the expressway the reorganisation of local government in the region and to keep rates affordable.
