I am a twenty year Kāpiti Coast resident and ratepayer, have four children and a Grandmother. This has given me a grounding in local Community needs. I grew up in Wellington and moved to Kāpiti for lifestyle.
Becoming a single parent, I needed to embark on a career for myself. I completed my Real-Estate studies and joined Harcourts. I have real passion for and empathy with people; listening, and dealing with people’s needs has been part of my daily life for a decade now. The experience has given me strong insight into the challenges people from all walks of life face.
I feel strongly about working together in a consultative way to resolve issues. I am against excessive spending on the ratepayers’ behalf and further debt being incurred for the next generation. I believe I will bring a balance of commonsense and genuine concern for the people of Kāpiti.
