I am fully committed to contributing to the prosperity of the Kāpiti Coast, and the lives and wellbeing of the community that lives here.
I am a local businessperson, a family man, and I am involved in a number of community organisations including coastguard, fisheries, and youth organisations.
I bring the experience and skills that were developed in my military
career in the Household Cavalry, where I learned self-discipline, respect, pride and determination.
Following this, I led a successful aid expedition in the Philippines where organisational, budgeting, and leadership skills were essential.
If elected, I would put those skills to good use in Council with a view to reining in expenditure and targeting rates increases in line with inflation.
I will encourage economic growth by removing barriers to business.
I promise to work in a cooperative and democratic manner to help
enhance the lives of the Kāpiti Coast community.
