I believe that our community is best served when our council is represented by people coming from a range of backgrounds and points of view. These representatives should be involved in our community, and most importantly, ready to listen, and consider different opinions with an open mind.
I believe I could provide a fresh, valuable perspective as a Kāpiti parent, with a focus on providing a great future for our next generation. I could also bring much needed financial and legal expertise and analysis skills to our council through my professional experience working for a multinational accounting firm, and a government department.
In eight years living in Kāpiti, I’ve enjoyed working within many different community groups.
To me, our people, and community networks are what make this such a
special place to live. We need to safeguard these, while properly
managing the growth in the region.
