A new star is born in the Kāpiti business world with the announcement of a merger between Kāpiti HR Services and Office Angels Recruitment. The new business is now Star Solutions HR & Recruitment.
A full house greeted the news with enthusiasm at the official launch on Friday.
Director Julia Palmer says Kāpiti HR Services and Office Angels Recruitment are both established businesses in their own right, and between them have had 13 years of service to the Kāpiti community.
“However there are many natural crossovers between our services, and after two years of working together, discussions and dedicated planning sessions, we decided we would take the opportunity to create a synergistic business from the two, so Star Solutions HR and Recruitment was born,” says Ms Palmer.
“We feel Star Solutions HR and Recruitment will deliver a more flexible service to meet business and our community’s needs, and create a much stronger brand.”
Ms Palmer says Star Solutions HR and Recruitment’s mission is to support business growth and leadership in our community. “We are passionate about this vision and growing employment in the Kāpiti Region. Our vision is to become the Coast’s own outsourced HR Department.”

Carly Bowers who looks after recruitment in her spare time and Debra Middleton who is the valued office administrator.
Sheryl Earnshaw is an accredited member of the Human Resources Institute of NZ and provides assistance to businesses with HR issues, and developing and implementing HR Management Systems.
Julia Palmer, who is a member of the HR institute of NZ also, looks after the temporary staffing team, permanent recruitment and behavioural profiling.
