The Rotary Club of Kāpiti were among dozens of community groups who turned out for the recent Kāpiti Relay for Life event held at the Paraparaumu Domain.
Hundreds turned up to the Domain to participate in the Relay for Life which was a very successful fundraiser for the Cancer Society with all funds raised being spent here in Kāpiti.
Loads of people made many new friends as they lapped the Domain track in the early hours of the morning. Everyone had stories to share of family and friends, who have been affected by cancer. And while it is important that these stories are told and heard it was also wonderful to hear so many survivor stories.
