Barry Lucinsky of Ōtaki is very well known for his commitment to recycling, especially glass, and now he has gone a step further with the creation of art works made from crushed glass.
Mr Lucinsky has work on exhibition which is also for sale at a variety of outlets throughout Kāpiti including WordSmith of Waikanae.
Wordsmith’s Angela Rayner said the Silica Garden Art sculptures have been a popular attraction at her shop in Aputa Place, Waikanae.
“The pieces are lovely and are selling very well,” said Ms Rayner.
