It is fast approaching the time where our local business folks get to suit up and hit the red carpet for the 2012 Electra Business Awards.
But as they say ‘first you have to be in to win’. Entries are still open and close on June 8.
Last year’s overall winner was Tuatara Brewing with owners Carl and Simone Vasta pictured receiving their Award.
Speaking about entering the awards Carl Vasta said “Working through the entry process confirmed my view that there is a right way to run a company and the questions confirmed that the judges were looking for things that we also felt were very important.”
Paul Fong of Youth Quest, winners of the Not-For-Profit category, also spoke about the benefits of entering. “I would recommend any business to enter and have a go you have nothing to lose and a lot of experts in the business field to gain from.”
Entry details are available from the Awards website: www.bkh.org.nz or email [email protected]
