The shambles that is the Kāpiti Expressway has continued to throw more anguish on the communities of the Kāpiti Coast, Kris Faafoi MP for Mana said today.
“The latest is that we have added another $100 million dollars on to the price tag and now National plans to force more families from their homes,” Kris Faafoi said.
“The expressway has been an ongoing saga. There has been a lack of consultation with communities who are being told that their slice of heaven is about to have a motorway cut through the heart of it.
“A roading solution is needed for Kāpiti. It is not an Expressway, it is the original plan for the Western Link Road,” said Mr Faafoi.
